Welcome to the ART 250C class wiki and blog. This is what can happen here:
- the instructor will post summaries of what happened in class, and provide followup information, as needed.
- students can post questions to the instructor or other students, or blog about items that might be of interest to the class.
- students will post images of projects in-progress for online critiques.
Students are encouraged to subscribe to this site's
RSS feed. Using an RSS reader makes it easier to see when new posts and comments appear on the wiki and blog. You can use an aggregator such as
NetNewsWire, installed on the EP/CD computers and available as a free download. Google also provides a Web-based
reader. Alternately, you can view the feed using Safari by clicking on the RSS button that appears in the address bar.
In addition to posting to the blog whenever students have questions or find items to share with the class, students are required to make blog posts at the following points, according to the
class schedule:
- To respond to our two (online) contextual readings and three (in-class) videos
- To post three project proposals
- To post in-progress critique images
Wiki or Blog?
- Wiki pages will be created for static content
- Blog posts are for more timely or dated postings
- Students will rarely need to create wiki pages. Most work will be done as blog posts and comments.
